Airborne Critical Care, LLC provides various levels of transport services on a global basis. We transport ALL our patients bedside-to-bedside! We begin the transport caring for your patient or loved one and we complete it the same way!

Critical Care Transports (Emergency Life Saving Transports)
Critical care transports by air ambulance is our specialty. We excel at caring for your critically ill or injured patient or loved one. We have one of the highest trained and capable flight teams in the world. Our standards far exceed that of the industry. We utilize the exact same team configuration as that of the one taking care of your loved one or patient in the Intensive Care Unit now. Therefore there is no change in the level of care. During critical care transports, ACC’s mission is to provide the same high level of care that your patient or loved one will be receiving at their destination intensive care unit. Every CCT is discussed with our on call Board Certified Critical Care Physician prior to departure and a plan of care is determined. Our Critical Care Physicians are available by satellite phone for consultation during flight as the need arises. ACC’s Flight Teams are trained to provide advanced interventions and are capable of handling any medical emergency that may arise in flight.

Basic Life Support Transports (Non-Emergency Air Ambulance Transports)
ACC is more than happy to transport your patient or loved one who is NOT critically ill or injured. If you are in need of transporting a patient or family member who is very stable and/or not acutely ill then ACC is still the team to call. For these transports we utilize the exact same air ambulance and flight team as our critical care transports. Unlike ACC, many air ambulance companies utilize personnel trained only in basic medical care and provide only a single caregiver for this type of flight. You never expect for your patient or family member to become ill or unstable during flight but if it happens, then it is nice to have the knowledge and capabilities of our team on-board. Our team can begin treatment and advanced care IMMEDIATELY. We don’t have to wait for the aircraft to land and call for a 911 EMS ambulance to begin advanced treatment. We are the Flying ICU / ER!

Advanced Life Support Transports (Semi-Emergency Transports)
ALS transports are for patients that are not critically ill but are acutely ill. They may require Cardiac Monitoring (EKG), IV Fluid and/or Medication infusions during flight. Just like critical care and basic life support transports, we transport these patients on the same critical care configured air ambulances with the same Critical Care Flight Team. Therefore any in-flight emergencies can be easily handled.

Commercial Medical Escort/Assist
This service is a less expensive alternative for patients or family members in need of transport who are extremely stable and do not require an air ambulance. They must be able to sit up and not require a stretcher. They also cannot have any need for cardiac monitoring or intravenous access other than indwelling lines. Indwelling intravenous lines can only be utilized for bolus medication and not for active IV infusions during commercial flights. On Medical Assists transports we send one of our nurses, respiratory practitioners, or paramedics as the medical escort to the patient by commercial airline. When ACC arrives our clinician thoroughly examines the patient and then transports them to the airport. ACC then facilitates security clearance and boarding of the patient. During flight we continue to assess the patient’ status and vital signs. We will assist with any medication needs, restroom visits, and feedings as needed. One call to our flight coordinators ensures a hassle free transport for you. We arrange all airline fairs for the patient and any loved ones accompanying the patient as well as the medical escort. ACC will also arrange for ground transportation and oxygen on-board the aircraft if needed. These types of transports offer you an alternative to air ambulance transport and are capable of being carried out anywhere in the world!
