When you call Airborne Critical Care, LLC regarding a patient transport, your call will be routed to our communications center known as ACC Flight Watch. In order to serve all of your transport needs, ACC Flight Watch is staffed 24 hours-per-day with our dedicated “Patient Care Flight Coordinators” They are all trained and experienced in customer service, flight tracking, logistics and have healthcare backgrounds. Many of our “Patient Care Flight Coordinators are experienced EMT’s or EMS Communicators.

One call starts the process and from there one of ACC’s “Patient Care Flight Coordinators” handles it all. Their duties include the following;

Arranging the transport and facilitating patient information
Financial arrangements
Assisting with insurance filing
Dispatching of the flight team and aircraft utilizing up-to-date dispatch software
Arranging ground or rotor transport on both ends of the fixed-wing transport
Constant flight following with our computerized GPS tracking system
Provides patient care and flight time updates to family members and the receiving facility and/or physicians.
Assisting both the pilots and medical team with any in-flight requirements
Helping ensure the safe and speedy transport of your patient or loved one
